Wellington Police have found a firearm which may be connected to a homicide in suburb Karori last year.

Rau Tongia, 33, was shot and killed on Percy Dyett Drive on 20 December.
Police today said they believed they had located the gun used.
Detective Senior Sergeant Steve Wescott said the firearm was found during a search warrant this month and was undergoing forensic analysis.
He said officers were also working to determine if it was connected to any other offending.
