A new poll has found that 60 percent of workers would be more likely to work in the office if a dog was there to entice them.

Nearly 2000 Kiwi workers took part in the poll by Frog Recruitment, which coincided with the beginning of this year's Top Office Dog competition.

The annual competition scours the motu for three cracking canines: New Zealand's Top Dog with a Job, New Zealand's Top Home Office Dog, a people's choice category, and New Zealand's Top Office Dog.

Frog Recruitment managing director Shannon Barlow spoke to Charlotte Cook.
