Police have seized 60 bags of synthetic drugs from a house in Porirua, that were ready to sell.
A 34-year-old man was arrested during the search and has been charged with possession of the drugs for sale, and for selling psychoactive substances.
He will appear in the Porirua District Court tomorrow.
Detective senior sergeant Ian Martin said the arrest is part of a wider operation targeting the sale of the drugs in Porirua.
He said this afternoon emergency services were called to Cannons Creek where a man was unconscious on the street after using synthetic drugs.
Mr Martin said police are committed to eradicating the drug, and will keep taking a hard line approach.
