Black Sticks happy to be no longer under the radar

The New Zealand men's hockey team may have well and truly blown their cover after the opening match win over Korea at the Beijing Olympics, but that doesn't worry defender Hayden Shaw.

Shaw, with a hat-trick, was the star of the Black Sticks' 3-1 win over the fifth-ranked Koreans.

Tonight the New Zealanders, ranked 11th in the world, play Spain who are seven places above them.

Shaw says the Black Sticks know that Spain will be thinking they'll have to change their game to counter the New Zealanders, which will play into his side's hands.

The game starts at half past midnight.
