A woman pedestrian has been taken to hospital with critical injuries after she was struck by a car in Parnell in Auckland.
The accident happened on Tamaki Drive about 9:30pm tonight.
Tamaki Drive is closed between Ngapipi Road and The Strand in Parnell while the police serious crash unit investigates.
Traffic diversions are in place.
