Emergency services have responded to a call out at a Riccarton pool this morning.
Police said they were called to Wharenui Pool shortly before 8.30am, after a person was involved in a water incident.
A spokesperson said the police remained in attendance.
St John sent one ambulance, one rapid response vehicle and an operations manager.
Wharenui Pool declined to comment, but a spokesperson confirmed it was currently closed.
