One person has died after a vehicle crashed and rolled onto its roof in the Dunedin suburb of Woodside.
In a statement, a police spokesperson said the single vehicle crash on Huntly Road was reported at about 7.20pm.
The road was still closed at 9.30pm on Tuesday while the Serious Crash Unit was at the scene.
Police said an investigation into the crash was ongoing.
