With its total number of cases hurtling towards 3-thousand, French Polynesia's Covid-19 outbreak has now reached its president Edouard Fritch.
A government statement says he tested positive for Covid-19 on his return from France.
The news came amid galloping numbers of infections which have surpassed New Zealand's
