Police have arrested a man they say was at the centre of a family harm incident involving a gun in Christchurch.
One person was taken to hospital with moderate injuries and Addington school was put into lockdown during the manhunt Tuesday afternoon.
Police said a 24-year-old man was arrested in Domain Terrace this morning.
He is due to appear at the Christchurch District Court on a number of charges including threatening to kill and presenting a firearm.
Armed police put up cordons at a Whiteleigh Avenue property next to a Z petrol station in Addington, following calls about a family harm matter.
