The trio haven't played since taking a combined 31 wickets in the two test victories over Pakistan, which catapulted New Zealand to the number one test ranking.

Southee and Boult will now square-off against Jamieson when the Northern Knights face the Auckland Aces in their domestic Twenty20 match at Eden Park Outer Oval.

Boult hasn't played in the competition since December 2016, while Southee's last appearance for the Knights came in the 2019 final.

In contrast Jamieson turned out six times for the Aces last season, taking eight wickets.

He also boasts the best bowling figures by a New Zealander in T20 cricket.

Jamieson claimed 6-7 against Auckland at the start of 2019, when he represented the Canterbury Kings.

He will bolster the winless Aces, while Southee and Boult will join fellow Black Caps T20 teammates Tim Seifert, Mitchell Santner and Scott Kuggeleijn at Northern, who have won just one of their first six matches.
