A technology industry group is trying to encourage more women to work in the sector.
A recent survey of ICT companies found they would be hiring thousands of staff in the coming years, but very few applications are from women.
The Technology Industry Association carried out the survey, and it's Chief Executive, Candace Kinser, says there is a shortfall of about 10,000 people in the industry.
She's started a working group with female executives to encourage more women to consider ICT as a career path.
