A pedestrian has died after being hit by a truck this morning.
The person was struck on Porowini Ave at around 10.30am.
Police have closed the intersection of Porowini Ave and Maunu Road and diversions are in place.
The Serious Crash Unit is in attendance and motorists are advised to avoid the area as cordons are expected to remain in place for some time.
