Police in Auckland say a South Auckland petrol station robbed on Sunday was the latest in a series of Caltex stations to be hit.
A group of offenders robbed the service station on Weymouth Road in Manuwera around 2am on Sunday morning.
Police said the group smashed a glass window to gain entry into the station, where one person was working.
It follows a ramped-up police presence around petrol stations, after five break-ins targetting petrol stations across the city last week].
Four of the now-six targeted stations have been Caltex-branded.
Anyone with information on the latest robbery is asked to call Crime Stoppers or 105, quoting the file number 240310/9889.
