Christchurch terror attacks were preventable - shooting survivor

A man who was shot nine times during the Christchurch terror attacks - believes it was preventable and the Royal Commission of Inquiry findings prove so.

The commission's report found lax practices for firearms licensing meant the terrorist was able to obtain a firearms license without having close family interviewed by vetting agents.

Instead, a friend who he meet on gaming websites was able to act as a referee.
