Deans hopes for two Aussie teams in Super 14 play-offs

The Wallabies coach Robbie Deans believes that having two Australian franchises in the Super 14 rugby play-offs will act as the perfect preparation for his maturing side.

Both the NSW Waratahs and ACT Brumbies are currently on the brink of making the final four but there is a likelihood that neither of them will make it.

The Waratahs need to beat the Hurricanes in Sydney, and the Brumbies need to beat the Crusaders in Christchurch.

Whatever the outcome in the final round this week, Deans has been encouraged by the performances of the Australian sides.

Deans says there is no doubt that a number of players have grown in confidence this year and he's now in the great position of having depth and selection options.

Australia play Fiji on June 5th before two Tests against England and one against Ireland.
