One person is dead after a crash in Tauranga Saturday afternoon.
The two-vehicle crash on Pyes Pa Road happened about 12.50pm, police said.
One person died and a second person in the same vehicle suffered critical injuries and was taken to hospital.
The two people in the second vehicle were in moderate condition.
The Serious Crash Unit was advised and the road has since reopened, police said.
