Fiji made a winning return to international netball beating Singapore 65-57 in last night's first test.
Due to the unsafe playing conditions at Toa Payoh Sports Hall, the match was moved to OCBC Hall 3 in Kallang, with the first pass delayed by 30 minutes.
Playing their first match in 12 months, the Pearls trailed 18-11 after the first quarter but levelled proceedings at 26-all by half-time.
Coach Vicki Wilson blooded debutants Grace Korovata, Caitlyn Fisher, Aliti Koribau, Lydia Panapasa and Ema Mualevu during the match as the 14th ranked Fijians established a 47-42 buffer heading into the final term before eventually completing an eight goal victory.
The two teams will square off again tonight in the second of three tests.
