Fiji's Director of Public Prosecutions has decided no charges will be laid against a candidate with the opposition National Federation Party, Feroz Gulam Mohammed.
He was interviewed after a complaint of criminal intimidation lodged by the Human Rights Commissioner Ashwin Raj.
The director Christopher Pryde said there's insufficient evidence to support a charge.
According to reports, Mr Raj claimed in February that Mr Mohammed had threatened him over the phone, which the provisional candidate denied.
