The Christchurch Cougars completed a double in the National Basketball League over the weekend, beating Manawatu 88-82 in Palmerston North yesterday after beating Saints on Saturday.
The Cougars were without Paora Winitana yesterday and come back from an early deficit to hold on in a tense few minutes.
The Cougars win takes them to 3-1 and into the top four on equal footing with Waikato and North Harbour who all sit one win adrift of Nelson Giants at the end of Round 4.
