Marshland Road in Christchurch is blocked in both directions after a crash, which has left one person with serious injuries.

The two vehicle crash happened just after 4pm this afternoon.
Police say one other person has moderate injuries.
Marshland Road is a major thoroughfare heading north out of the city, and diversion are in place at Guthries and Belfast roads.
The Serious Crash Unit is at the scene.
