Toxic algae sparks public heath warning

A public health warning has been issued at a Canterbury river after the discovery of potentially toxic blue-green algae.

The algae has been found in the Selwyn Waikirikiri River, downstream of the Whitecliffs Domain near the picnic area, and Karyn speaks with Tim Davie from Environment Canterbury about what to watch for and how to keep safe.
