Chinese construction workers in the Northern Marianas are seeking compensation for injuries they sustained on the job.
Six employees from Gold Mantis Construction Decoration said they were forced to work in extremely dangerous conditions on a Saipan casino project.
The workers filed a lawsuit against the company on Monday, alleging that they were forced to work long hours for below the minimum wage.
One of the plaintiffs said that when they sustained burns and cuts, their employer refused to take them to hospital.
