Police investigating two assaults on sex workers in Christchurch on Friday morning say they're no closer to catching the attacker.
Police on Saturday said investigators had a clear image of the suspect after reviewing CCTV footage of a man in the area where the assaults took place.
But Detective Sergeant Richard Quested said on Sunday that no further leads had been generated.
In the first attack, a prostitute was sexually assaulted in an empty Bealey Ave section at 3am. Two hours later a second sex worker was punched in the face.
The CCTV image is of a Maori or Polynesian man, of solid build, wearing a light-coloured jacket.
