Pushpay exceeds its growth target by a third

Mobile payments company Pushpay says it has exceeded its customer growth target by 31 percent to the end of March, and now has 996 customers.

The software company, which facilitates donations to non-profit organisations and churches, expects its customer base to more than double in the next six months ending in September, to more than 2000 customers.

Pushpay's chief executive Chris Heaslip said the company was able to scale up to meet the demand for now, but will eventually need more capital to reach its potential, with over 314,000 potential customers in the United States alone.
