A staff member at a Tauranga rest home who got a positive rapid antigen test (RAT) result for Covid-19 has had a negative nasal swab.

Residents and families at Bob Owens Retirement Village were worried when a staff member got the positive RAT result on Tuesday.
But late yesterday, they received a negative PCR result.
The team member has symptoms, but has found to be suffering from another virus.
All staff and residents in the hospital unit, where the staff member works, have had rapid antigen tests, with all returning negative results.
They have also had nasal swabs.
From tomorrow, the care centre will fully reopen, except for the hospital unit because they are still awaiting some nasal swab results.
The retirement village includes townhouses, independent apartments or assisted-living apartments.
It also has a care centre providing 122 care rooms offering rest home, hospital and specialist dementia care.
