A driver has died after a single vehicle crash near Te Awamutu in Waikato overnight.
Emergency services were called to the scene at the intersection of Parklands Road and Roto O Rangi Road about 2.37am.
The driver was the only person inside and died at the scene.
The Serious Crash Unit has been advised.
Diversions are in place and motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible.
