A grenade, stolen cars, cash and cannabis were among items seized by police during a crackdown on crime in Canterbury.
During the two-day operation across the district, police conducted 137 prevention patrols targeting dishonesty offending and reducing harm on the road.
Forty-three arrest warrants were executed and 15 search warrants were conducted.
Fifty people were arrested.
A number of people were charged with a range of offences including dishonesty, drug possession, burglary, firearm possession, and family harm.
Others were summonsed or warned for minor offending.
Some of those arrested were due to appear in Christchurch District Court today.
