Whakataukī of the Week with Mokotron

Every Monday on here Nights, to set the tone for the rest of the week, a guest shares a whakataukī - a Māori proverb - that's meaningful to them.

Tonight, we're talking to Mokotron, a Ngāti Hine music producer based in Tāmaki Auckland. 

Their new album, WAEREA, is coming in December, described as 'nine tracks of pure dark Māori bass' -- the first single, ŌHĀKĪ is out now.

The man behind the project is Tiopira McDowell.
