Police say a man found dead in Henderson yesterday morning has now been formally identified.
Acting Detective Senior Sergeant Ben Bergin said the man's body was found in a waterway near Edmonton Road, Henderson, just before 10am on Saturday.
Police earlier released images of a ring and boots the man was wearing and asked anyone who might have information that could help them to identify the deceased to contact them.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the man's death are ongoing.
Police thanked those who had contacted them with information to enable the man's identification.
