New Zealand Laser sailor Sam Meech has finished 10th in the medal race, at today's sailing regatta at the Enoshima Yacht Harbour in Japan.
Meech won the bronze medal at the 2016 Olympics.
Josh Junior won race 10 of the men's Finn sailing event which sees him progress to Tuesday's medal race in fourth place overall.
Paul Snow-Hansen and Dan Wilcox finished in 8th place in race 8 of the 470 class to put them in fifth overall heading into races 9 and 10 tomorrow.
Concluding their Olympic campaign, Micah Wilkinson and Erica Dawson missed out on qualification for their final after they finished 14th in race 12 of the Nacra-17 mixed sailing.

Meanwhile, New Zealand high jumper Hamish Kerr will be hoping to be among the medals at his first Olympics later tonight.
The 24-year-old comfortably qualified on Friday and was due to compete in the final from 10.10pm.
His clearance at 2.28m secured his place among the 13-strong field.
Elsewhere on the athletics field, Julia Ratcliffe has qualified for the women's hammer throw final on Tuesday, but fellow New Zealander Lauen Bruce fell short, finishing 12th in her round.
New Zealanders have also been in action in golf and equestrian.
