Fear and grief in PNG villages coping with quake

06:03 am on 19 March 2018

A community worker in Papua New Guinea says some people have only just managed to walk out from landslip affected areas after family members were killed.

Sally Lloyd, a daughter of Australian missionaries who grew up in the mountainous jungles of Papua New Guinea's Western Province, is currently in Mogulu, near the epicenter.

She spoke to Jenny Meyer about the impact of February's 7.5 magnitude earthquake on the land and the village communities.
