The funeral of two Australian brothers killed in an ice fall at Fox Glacier will be held in Melbourne on Friday.
Ashish and Akshay Miranda were travelling with their parents at the time of the accident, which occurred after the pair walked beyond warning signs at Fox Glacier earlier this month.
The body of Ashish, 24, was recovered immediately, but the body of Akshay, 22, was buried under hundreds of tonnes of ice. On Thursday, it was recovered after being sighted 10 kilometres downstream from the glacier.
The body still remains with the coroner, but the family says it is expecting it to be released on Wednesday.
