The 36-year-old has been charged with fraud, receiving stolen property and drug offences.

The police found more than 70 pieces of stolen mail while executing a search warrant at a Diamond Harbour property this morning.

The arrest follows reports of mail being taken over several months, and a stolen credit card being used to buy groceries, cigarettes, alcohol and petrol.

The police are trying to identify the owners of the mail.

The woman will appear in court on Friday.
