A Waikato man faces several charges, following an alleged kidnapping.
Detective Sergeant Simon Evans said police had made extensive enquiries following an incident on Great South Road in Ngāruawāhia on Saturday night.
A 28-year-old man has been arrested in relation to the incident and is due to appear in Hamilton District Court tomorrow.
He has been charged with assault and kidnapping.
