Solomon Islands has condemned in the strongest terms, the acts of terror committed against United States forces in Iraq.
The Department of Foreign Affairs has told the Solomon Islands Broadcasting Corporation it is particularly concerned about the aggression against the US, including the abduction and kidnapping of members of peace-keeping forces deployed to Iraq.
The Department says the Solomons is also concerned about acts of terror targeting nationals of countries that have deployed troops in Iraq.
It says the Solomons fully supports forward-defence on terrorism in all its forms world-wide.
