The Sydney Roosters enforcer Mark O'Meley has been cleared to play in Friday night's National Rugby League semi-final against the Warriors in Auckland after escaping being over two separate incidents from his side's qualifying final loss to Brisbane last week.

O'Meley knocked out Broncos prop Joel Clinton with a shoulder charge in the 24-16 loss and left Broncos hooker Michael Ennis with a head wound after making contacting him with his knees.

But the NRL's match review committee has cleared O'Meley of any wrongdoing which means he can play on Friday.
