Pets seek shelter amid ruff weather

16:06 pm on 13 July 2017

When the weather turns wild, a bit of company from our domesticated friends does not go amiss.

Recognising this, RNZ put out a call for pics of pets enjoying, or avoiding, the weather.

Indeed, some took to it with reckless abandon.

Or took to it at a brisk walk, anyway.

And Bird and Piglet rugged up warm.

In fact, lots of pets chose to stay indoors.

Even some of the wildest creatures sought refuge.

But some still had to work.
