Two Black Power associates have been arrested in relation to supplying methamphetamine in Rotorua.
The arrests follow a four-month operation focused on the drug trade in the Bay of Plenty city, police said.
The two men - aged 38 and 52 - were facing numerous charges relating to the possession and supply of methamphetamine.
They appeared in court on Friday and would reappear next year.
Detective Sergeant Jonathon Brady said the men were identified during the investigation.
"Our investigation has been ongoing and came to a conclusion when both men were taken into custody without incident," Brady said.
"We have recovered quantities of cash and methamphetamine as part of the termination phase, and we're pleased with the outcome."
The arrests would stymie the flow of the Class-A drug in the community.
"These arrests will in no doubt cause a dent in supply," Brady said.
"Our work doesn't end there, and the community can be assured that we will continue to target those who are choosing to peddle this misery for profit. We know how harmful methamphetamine is to so many communities and the lasting impacts the drug has."
Rotorua police urged those with information about those involved in the supply of harmful and illicit drugs to contact them.
"There is a range of ways you can provide information to us, including through Crime Stoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
