Children's rights are at the heart of a training programme being run for judges and magistrates in Fiji this week.
The UN Children's Fund UNICEF is partnering with Fiji's judiciary to ensure the protection of children when they are in contact with the justice system.
UNICEF's Pacific representative Sheldon Yett spoke with Dominic Godfrey about how the judicial system can further traumatise children if child-sensitive training and procedures are not in place.
