A west Auckland school has been deep cleaned after a pupil tested positive for Covid-19.
The girl is one of two, aged between 10 and 14, who became the latest cases in yesterday's figures.
Both are associated with the bereavement events sub-cluster which is linked to the Mt Roskill Evangelical Fellowship Group.
One attended Sunnyvale School in Henderson but was not at school when she was infectious.
However, the school's principal says deep cleaning has taken place as a precaution.
Health officials say there are no close contacts of the girl at the school and classes will resume tomorrow as usual.
