Fijian striker Roy Krishna says his confidence is continuing to grow now he's established himself in the Wellington Phoenix starting side.
The 27 year-old joined the A-League club in January and has made six appearances so far this season.
Since coming off the bench to assist the winning goal against Asian champions Western Sydney last month he's started every game, scoring goals in the last two and setting up his teammates.
Krishna says after taking time to adapt to the demands of professional football he now feels at home.
"I knew when I signed for Phoenix it was going to be hard for me to get in the starting eleven. I need to work hard off-field and that's what I did and wait for my chance to have a go and then I used the off-chance and I created the goal and things are working out for me now. I needed my chance and I'm enjoying every moment of it, playing every week now, and especially working on my speed as well and also some skills."
Roy Krishna and the fifth-placed Phoenix are away to the Newcastle Jets tonight.
