A champion boxer in American Samoa will be sentenced next month after he pleaded guilty this week to drug possession.
Twenty-six-year-old Sui Fausaiga, who is also known as Sui Palauni, was charged last year with possession of methamphetamine, and two misdemeanor counts.
He has been in custody since his arrest in August last year - unable to post his $US5,000 bail.
According to Samoa News, Fausaiga currently holds the American Samoa light heavyweight title, and in his last fight, in April last year, he won the All Samoan light heavyweight title.
