The Black Ferns remain on track to play their Rugby World Cup opener in front of a sold-out crowd at Eden Park.
On Monday, tournament director Michelle Hooper confirmed more than 35,000 tickets had already been snapped up for Saturday's triple-header in Auckland.
The matches included the tournament opener between France and South Africa and Fiji's first women's World Cup match, against England, before the host nation started their campaign against trans-Tasman rivals Australia.
Hooper said organisers believed progress with ticket sales had them tracking for a sellout.
If achieved, it would be the first of its kind for a women's sports events at Eden Park, which has a capacity of 47,000.
World Rugby chief executive Alan Gilpin confirmed the Black Ferns second pool match, against Wales at Waitakere Stadium, was already sold out.
Meanwhile, total ticket sales for the tournament had reached around 75,000.
Hooper said they were optimistic they would reach their overall target of 127,000.
