The Foreign Affairs Minister says businesses that work with Fiji have a duty to emphasise to their contacts there the harm the interim regime is having on Fiji's economy.
Murray McCully said in a speech to the Fiji-New Zealand Business Council that the Government is sticking to the status quo of not imposing trade sanctions.
Mr McCully said the $434 million trade between the countries is less than it should be, with investors preferring to put their money into stable countries.
