A person has been killed and another injured after a crash near Whanganui.
Only one vehicle was involved in the crash, which happened about 12:30pm Sunday, at Pākaraka, on State Highway 3, a police spokesperson said.
The injured person was taken to hospital with serious to moderate injuries.
A scene examination and enquiries into what happened were being carried out.
