A court in French Polynesia has rejected an appeal by a party which has been excluded from this year's territorial election.
The list of the 73 candidates of To Tatou Ananahi was submitted to the electoral authorities six minutes after the expiry of the deadline earlier this week.
Radio 1 reported that Corinne Atger challenged the rejection on behalf of the party in court.
However, it ruled that there was no case of force majeure to give her appeal any consideration.
One of the seven party lists submitted on time has been disqualified because some documents failed to comply with the rules.
