The cabinet of the newly re-elected president of Kiribati, Taneti Maamau, has been sworn in.

Vice president Dr Teuea Toatu has Finance and Economic Development while Willie Tokataake becomes Minister for Infrastructure and Sustainable Energy.
Environment, Lands and Agricultural go to Ruateki Tekaiara and the important fisheries and marine portfolio to Ribanataake Tiwau.
Despite a record number of women MPs, the Women, Youth, Sports and Social Affairs went to Martin Moreti.
Other cabinet minister include Boutu Bateriki with Internal Affairs, Bootii Nauan with Commerce and Industry and Taabeta Teakai with Employment and Human Resource.
The Health portfolio goes to Dr Tinte Itinteang.
