One person has died following a crash between a motorcycle and a car near Cardrona this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the scene of the accident on the Crown Range Road between Queenstown and Wanaka late this afternoon, police said.
The road is closed and motorists have been asked to avoid the area on the Crown Range Road.
The Serious Crash Unit has been notified and will investigate the scene.
