Jury finds man not guilty of murder in Porirua brawl

A jury has found a man not guilty of murder after a brawl in Porirua resulted in a man dying from several stab wounds.

Hone Pawa died during the fight in May last year and Ngapaki Gripp had been on trial for murder at the High Court in Wellington.

The jury took about five hours to deliberate before reaching its not guilty verdict tonight.
