An 84-year-old man with mild dementia has been missing in Hamilton since yesterday evening.

Raymond Stirling was reported missing in Hamilton this afternoon, police said.
He was last seen in Halcione Close area about 7pm yesterday.
Police said the 84-year-old is slim with a frail build and his family were concerned for his wellbeing as he suffers from mild dementia.
He is likely on foot and may be hitchhiking.
Police urged people to check properties, sheds and out-buildings in case Mr Stirling has taken shelter.
